Who did the Ritz Carlton pick to design its residential luxury condos in Naples? This ASID chapter president.

NAPLES, Fla. — The Ritz Carlton Residences in Naples has named Lucy Penfield as the preferred designer for a new 12-story residential tower scheduled to begin construction in 2026.

Penfield, principal of Lucy Interiors, has been designing homes for clients in Naples, Palm Beach, Vero Beach and Boca Grande, Fla., for more than 20 years. Based in Minneapolis, Penfield is also the current president of the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Minnesota chapter.

The 12-story Ritz Carlton Residences will include three-, four- and five-bedroom condominiums and will range from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet. Each will also feature large terraces and views of the Gulf of Mexico. Prices start at $4 million, and the units will be built and sold by Naples-based Stock Development Company.

“It’s an honor to work with such an aspirational brand,” said Penfield. “I look forward to partnering with the Stock Development team and homeowners to create luxurious, personalized living spaces that bring joy into their lives.”
